Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 10AM MEDIA, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“10AM Media,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website (10ammedia.tv), booking platform (booking.10ammedia.tv), studio, and related services (the “Services”). It works together with our Cookie Policy and Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone, company, booking details, guest information you enter, support messages, and any content or notes you submit.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive confirmation and limited details (e.g. card brand/last four) but do not store full card numbers.
- Content: recordings and media created or uploaded as part of your sessions, handled per our Terms.
- Usage & device information: pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location (from IP), browser/device characteristics, and identifiers — collected via cookies and similar technologies, subject to your choices (see Cookie Policy).
- Acquisition & marketing data: how you reached us (ad click, referral, search, UTM parameters), used for attribution and to measure marketing.
2. How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services and your bookings.
- Process payments, send transactional and account emails, and provide customer support.
- Understand site usage and measure advertising — subject to your cookie/consent choices.
- Prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
Where required by law (e.g. in the EEA/UK), our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the Services), your consent (analytics/advertising cookies, marketing), our legitimate interests (security, improving the Services), and compliance with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except through the advertising cookies you consent to. We share information only in the following circumstances:
a. Service providers (processors) acting on our behalf
We share limited data with vendors who process it under contract, only to provide the Services:
- Analytics: PostHog, Google Analytics (GA4) — to measure and improve usage.
- Advertising: Google Ads, and (where enabled) Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn — to measure ad performance and build audiences, only with your Advertising-cookie consent.
- Payments: Stripe — to process transactions.
- CRM & communications: Zoho — to manage customer records; and our email provider — to send transactional and account messages.
- Hosting & infrastructure: Vercel and Fly.io — to run the website and app.
b. Distribution you direct
When you ask us to publish your content, we transmit it to the platforms you designate (e.g. Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube), which then handle it under their own terms.
c. Legal, safety & protection of rights
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of 10AM Media, our customers, or the public, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
d. Business transfers
If 10AM Media is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
e. With your consent, or in aggregated/de-identified form
We may share information with your direction or consent, and we may share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you.
f. Connected social accounts and platform APIs
When you connect a social or media account to our publishing service, you authorize us through that platform’s official API (OAuth). We receive and store the resulting access and refresh tokens (encrypted) and basic profile details, and we use them onlyto schedule and publish the content you create. We request the minimum permissions needed, we do not sell this data or use it for advertising, and you can disconnect any account at any time (which deletes the associated tokens) or revoke access from the platform’s own settings.
YouTube & Google. Our service uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube account you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your Google data is handled under the Google Privacy Policy. With your authorization we access your YouTube account to view basic channel information and to upload, publish, and manage the videos and posts you create. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke our access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
LinkedIn.Our service uses LinkedIn’s APIs to publish on your behalf. By connecting a LinkedIn profile or Page you also agree to the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, and your LinkedIn data is handled under the LinkedIn Privacy Policy. With your authorization we access your profile or Company Page to display basic account information and to publish and manage the content you create. You can revoke access under LinkedIn Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services.
Other platforms (such as X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, TikTok, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify) are connected on the same basis: minimum-necessary permissions, encrypted token storage, use only to publish and manage your content, no sale of your data, and disconnect or revoke at any time. For a per-platform breakdown of exactly what each connection accesses, see 10ammedia.tv/connect.
4. Cookies & your choices
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. On your first visit you can accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies by category, and you can change your choice anytime via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. We use Google Consent Mode, so analytics and advertising tools load only after consent.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing or “sales”/“sharing,” and to withdraw consent (this includes rights under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA). We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact support@10ammedia.tv; we will verify and respond as required by law.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. Your content is retained according to your storage plan and our Terms.
7. International transfers
We operate in the United States, and our providers may process data in the U.S. and other countries. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
8. Security & data-breach notification
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security incident that compromises your personal information, we will investigate and notify affected individuals and authorities as and when required by applicable law(for Texas residents, the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act, Tex. Bus. & Com. Code §521, and any other breach-notification laws that apply to you), without unreasonable delay. Our notice will describe, to the extent known, what happened and the steps you can take. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and your own backups of your content.
9. Children
The Services are intended for adults (18+) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy; the current version (with its “last updated” date) governs. For material changes we will provide notice through the Services or by email.
